My first RTF-305 blog post

I am taking the RTF-305 course mainly because it is a requirement for the RTF major, but also because it seems very interesting and informative. I've heard many people say that this class is disappointing because there isn't any "hands-on" work with making films, but I feel that taking a few preliminary classes to first understand film and filmmaking is a good requirement for the major. What I hope to learn from taking this course is to fully understand the media's influence on the world, and to get a great introduction into the college of communications. I don't really read any blogs that I can think of, but I do frequently go to reddit.
